DULUTH, MN (KDAL) – The Duluth Fire Department has responded to a partial roof collapse near the Applebee’s Restaurant location in the Miller Hill Mall.
No injuries were reported in the incident that was reported about 9 a-m on Tuesday.
The mall has been evacuated and the public is being asked to stay away at this time.
The Essentia Health facilities at the Mall have cancelled all their appointments for Tuesday.
While the snow-related collapse was not directly over any Essentia property, the Essentia Health-Miller Hill Pharmacy, Surgery Center, Center for Personal Fitness, Therapy and Performance Center, Polinsky Medical Rehabilitation Center and the Essentia Health-Miller Hill Clinic are all closed for the remainder of Tuesday.
Decisions about the timing of reopening will be made in conjunction with mall leadership.
